This my 3rd tattoo. :)

I got this as a present for my mom for Mother’s Day.

I couldn’t decide what to get my mom for mother’s day so I got a tattoo of her on my right arm. I’ve always loved tattoos and I love the fact that it’s never gonna come off. Just like she’s never gonna stop being my mom.

The tattoo is inspired by the work of Danny Roberts. An incredible illustrator who does really ethereal watercolor portraits. I wanted the tattoo to look like watercolor because I think it’s one of the most beautiful mediums and I love its delicateness and fragility. Exactly the same way as I view my mother.

I decided to have her hair in a bun because I want her face to be the focus and I’ve always thought she was most beautiful when her hair is tied loosely. I added the peach rose at the top because it represents gratitude. 

The text on the bottom says “Unconditional love.” I believe that only a mother can truly give absolute love and this statement holds true to what me and my mom has gone through. I’m in love with it so much and the tattoo artist did such an amazing job!

Spent almost two weeks with this boy both in Baguio and in Manila and I’m glad to say I have him as a friend. He’s the boy version of me. He likes old films, old songs, old records, old cameras, and other old things you can think of.

He’s my fellow haranista and my fellow Francophile. He lets me sleepover whenever I’m homeless in Manila and I’m always homeless in Manila so he let’s me sleepover every single time. Haha we both go gaga over macarons and Happy Lemon and the only thing that sets us apart is how he laughs extremely loud and I laugh quietly whenever we come across something funny. He sings us both to sleep at night and sings us to wake every morning and he’s obsessed with Miranda. Haha

I love this boy. Looking forward to what more this friendship has in store for us miloves. I said weeeh!

I finally figured out how to do a James Dean/Elvis pompadour hair after multiple failed attempts! So decided to take a photo, coz I might not be able to do this again, complete with the leather jacket, aviators and a vintage camera for added effect. Hahaha. :D
